Indubitable Issues and Pull List (11/29/17)

Josh’s Recommendation…
John Wick #1
“The ‘John Wick’ films are wildly popular for reviving the action films of old with modern film making, and so demand for the character is only rising with each film. With Greg Pak wanting to peel the veil back a bit on John and show his origins, the potential is there for a deep inspection of the man who would become one of the most feared assassins in the World. With classical art by Giovanni Valletta, this is one promising series to close out 2017 on.””

Tyler’s Recommendation…
Beauty #17
“I’m going to keep recommending this title each time there’s a new arc. This is a book that everyone interested in
comics should at least check out. A solid concept, executed with aplomb by the creative team.”
Dean’s Recommendation…
Jean Grey #9
“I described last issue as a Christopher Nolan plot with Grant Morrison characters. Do you really want to miss an issue of that?”
As we’re sure you all have noticed, the pull list page is no longer present. We here at Nothing But Comics have decided to combine this weekly with the discussion of which comics we are all buying for the week. Included below is the link of our personal favorite product guide. Don’t worry, this is not an advertisement; the website is not paying us anything to push it (not that we’d object!). Comic List just happens to be totally awesome. So check out that massive list and then come on back here to let us know what you are buying.

I just found out that Greg Rucka has been busy writing a lot of Star Wars related stuff this year. A small prose novel about two of the coolest characters from Rogue One. Baze and Chirrut.

      1. Ya for some reason I don’t think his Star Wars comics are on the Marvel U app (yet?). I may have to buy them. Greg recently said that he was sick with a mystery illness for a while over the summer so I’m amazed at his output. He says he’s feeling better now though.
