DC’s nostalgia tinged rollout of new mini-series continues this week with a spotlight for classic Suicide Squad member Deadshot and recent film addition Katana. Most Wanted features the initial chapters in two serials, each one centering one of the title characters. First up is Deadshot, whose tale opens in a South American country. Squad director Amanda Waller has sent Deadshot after the head of a local cartel and Deadshot succeeds in leveling the hideout with his typical efficiency. Though failing to find the boss himself, he does secure information on his possible location. Writer Brian Buccellato and artist Viktor Bogdanovic hit the usual beats with Floyd Lawton without making the sequence especially striking. This vibe, more or less, carries over through the rest of the comic.
