Ghost Rider: Vicious Cycles and Revelations

Ten years ago, Marvel was publishing a comic series to coincide with the title character’s live-screen appearance.  Civil War by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven was blowing up sales while a big screen Iron Man adaptation was right around the corner. All of which is to say, the more things change the more they stay the same. In 2006, Johnny Blaze would take the last long ride he would see for some time. It was, more or less, a fitting one. “Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re inclined to write ‘very’; your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.” – Samuel Clemens

This book is DAMN good!  I will be writing Rick Remender a letter and thanking him for making a book just for me.  I am going to start by commenting on the physical book.  I have the Library Volume 1 Hardcover and this is easily the nicest book I own.  The pages are so thick and big I get to enjoy Opena and Moore in all their 8″ x 12 3/16″ glory!  Opena and Moore just rock this book.  It really is a piece of art, one that I proudly display on my coffee table.  Also good to bash on intruders heads in the middle of the night, it would cause some real damage.
