When I was a kid it was always Han and Chewie. They’re still my favorites but now I would also add vader.
I liked Han Solo the best as a kid, although now that I’m older, I’ve come to appreciate the quiet, “get it done” attitude and service of the bald Lobot.
My only answer is YODA even if the prequels did their best to ruin him
Yoda was around for hundreds of years but those last 20 are a doozy. The dude really fell apart at the end there. Kung Fu to walking with a cane in the blink of eye.
I’m going to speak blasphemy and say that Wicket is my favorite Star Wars character.
I even like their music that is strangely similar to Bolivian pan flute music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0R290a95dw
There’s no blasphemy in choosing Wicket. The Ewoks are cool. The death of Nanta the Ewok in RETURN OF THE JEDI is one of the most poignant scenes in the franchise; I get choked up every time I see it:
Ya, I like the Ewoks. There is an excellent tv show starring Warwick Davis / Wicket during which he plays himself trying to get acting work. It is sooooo funny; he plays himself as a real narcissistic jerk (delusional even). I wish that it lasted longer. It’s called “life’s too short”.
The Ewoks got a bad rap. Considering all the things that came after they were pretty great overall. The whole worshipping of C3PO is pretty hilarious
Ya i hear that it was supposed to be wookies and there was some casting or budgetary problem so they just made them into Ewoks instead. I’m glad about that, whatever the reason.
Lucas tried to strike gold twice with a children friendly? hairless rabbit ala Jar Jar and it turned into a disaster.
He has interviews where he says he’s going to make Boba Fett female because he doesn’t get why fans like him (so he was just contemplating whether he should do it just to spite Fett fans). I never liked Fett but that is ridiculous. He was rude about fandom long before 1999; I’m so glad he had nothing to do with this.
The only good thing about Jar Jar was the Jackovasaurs episode of South Park

My favorite is, and will always be, Han Solo. A huge part of that is Harrison Ford himself; Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan, Mr. Ford is simply one of the best EVER.
