LOOKING FOR BOOKS TO BUY THIS WEEK?
LOOK NO FURTHER.
HERE ARE SOME ISSUES THAT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.
Tyler’s Recommendations … Green Valley #1“A new series from Max Landis with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli. Landis has a pretty solid track record in my opinion, Camuncoli’s art is fantastic, and the medieval-ish setting has me intrigued. The solicits seem to infer that something about the world is not as it seems, so I’m interested in finding out more.”
Archie Meets Ramones One Shot
“I’ve really dug all the Archie Meets… one shots, so there’s no way I’m passing this up. I also have fond memories of the 80’s classic(?) Rock and Roll High School, and I’m a big Ramones fan–who isn’t?–so I’m kind of required to check this out. Add in some wonderful art from Gisele Lagace, and you have a solid recipe for an entertaining romp with the Riverdale crew.” Josh’s Recommendations… Regular Show #40
“Its been 3 years since BOOM! started licensing this property, and supposedly this is the “end” of that. Nevertheless, the series lately has been a fun and clever comic about a dozen friends who hang out in a park and deal with bonkers events daily. Whether this is the “end” or not, I’m checking out this issue to see how BOOM! closes out the series and see if Benson finally fires Mordecai and Rigby…” Moonshine #1
“Have Risso and Azzerallo ever done a bad book? I mean “100 Bullets”, “Batman: Broken City”, “Batman Flashpoint”. Even “Spaceman”? Even “Spaceman”. When you put these two together, you know its gotta end up in something great. Throw Image into the equation and you have yet another Image #1 you have to check out, which gives you two reasons to buy this issue.”
As I’m sure you all have noticed, the pull list page is no longer present. We here at Nothing But Comics have decided to combine this weekly with the discussion of which comics we are all buying for the week. Included below is the link of our personal favorite product guide. Don’t worry, this is not an advertisement; the website is not paying us anything to push it (not that we’d object!). Comic List just happens to be totally awesome. So check out that massive list and then come on back here to let us know what you are buying.

Love, that Fables is back… and Adam Strange and Deadman for that matter.
I’m starting to get burnt out on both Mignola verse books and Walking Dead. I’ve been reading them too long.
Aquaman continues to impress.
I read a preview of Green Valley and I wasn’t happy with the usage of modern dialogue in medieval times (maybe this is done purposefully for humor… we will see). I did really like American Ultra though so Max does have talent. I preordered the first two issues and not the third…
